He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Willard Cox Sr. and Annie Duncan (Cole); his wife Carolyn Cox (Mayes); his daughters, Naomi Ludan (Eric) and Niki Matthews (Kenneth); his grandchildren, Elise and Braedon Ludan; and his siblings, Phyllis San Smith (John), Clara Lee Cox, Taddy Cox, Terry Cox (Phyllis), Sissy Mills (Bill), Danny Cox (Jeri), Andy Cox and Cathy Cannon (Keith). He was also cherished by several nieces, nephews, and extended family.
