Mitchell, Sr. and Ruby Mitchell (Phillips); her siblings, Denice White, Sheila Taylor, Velease Mitchell, Nina Pope, Don Foster, Sr. and Chris Mitchell; her sons, Charles Simmons, Jr., Brandon Leon Simmons, Sr., Thomas Simmons, Christopher Simmons (Emily Simmons) of Rockport, Texas and Quaniesha Simmons (Tiffany) of Corpus Christi, Texas; and her brothers, Thomas Perry Mitchell, Jr. of Texas, Ricky Mitchell, Sr. of Aransas Pass and Jackie Mitchell of Rockport, Texas. She is also survived by 22 grandchildren.
