She was predeceased by: her husband Nelson Ward; and her father Leo Edward Dean. She is survived by: her significant other Daniel Naranjo; her mother Georgia Swanner; and her children, Anthony Ward, Larry Ward, Zarita Ramsey and Sharon Ward. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
