We are sad to announce that on September 30, 2024, at the age of 74, Michael Lee Barnes (Rockport, Texas), born in Ames, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Barnes and Dorothy Bradish Barnes; his brother-in-law Michael Demelge; and his in-laws, Keith Baker, Pat Baker, Bill Baker and Paul Buzza.

He is survived by: his wife Martha; his children, Tim Barnes (Kylie), Jennifer Farris (Allan), Merrin Chivers, Molly Rose-DeLeon (Cris) and Mattie Rose; his grandchildren, Dylan, Brandon, Damian, Leeland, Savannah, Sophia and Ellie; his siblings, John Barnes Jeff (Gayle), Richard Barnes (Patti) and Leslie Jean Demelge; and his sisters-in-law, Nancy Buzza and Annette Wells.
