He was predeceased by: his parents, Adolfo Sandoval and Elvira Sandoval; his siblings, Hector Sandoval (Elda), Yolanda Alvaraso and Bertha Guidry (Bo); and his son-in-law Billy Chandler.
He is survived by: his wife Maria B. Sandoval; his children, Iris Sanchez (Mark), Juan M. Sandoval, Iracema Sandoval of Rockport and Irma Chandler of Rockport; his brothers, David Ruben Sandoval (Margarita) of Kansas City, KS and Omar Sandoval (Connie) of San Diego, TX; his brother-in-law Manuel Alvardo, Jr. of San Antonio, TX; his grandchildren, John Sandoval, Matthew Sanchez (San Juana), Katherine Chandler, Lauren Chandler, Vanessa Sandoval and Maya Sanchez; and his great grandchildren, Matias Sanchez and Brooklyn Chandler.
