He is survived by: his wife Teresa Valdez (Lange); his children, Tiffany Valdez (Rickey Lindstedt), Dustin Miertschin (Misty), Weston Miertschin (Ashley) and Dillon Miertschin; his grandchildren, Bryce Miertschin, Shelby Miertschin and Hailey Miertschin; his great grandchildren, Kamrie Miertschin, Gracelynn Mae Miertschin and Nova Skye Miertschin; and his siblings, Sylvia Ledbetter (Gary), Al Valdez (Lupe), Yvonne Valdez (Christina Rodriguez) and JoAnn McCoy (Bob). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and great nieces, and great nephews.
