With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Fabian Fonseca of Rockport, Texas, born in Lyford, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 26, 2024 at the age of 82. He was predeceased by: his parents, Casimira Maria Morales and Santiago Fonseca; his stepfather Trinidad Ramos Sr.; and his siblings, Santiago Fonseca Jr., Peter Ramos and Eva Ramos.
He is survived by: his daughters, Lauren Denver-Potter (George Potter) and Adriana Simmons (Cory); his grandsons, Trenton Denver (Lilly Hicks), Oliver Simmons, Elijah Simmons and Corbin Potter; his former wife Kathleen Fonseca; his siblings, Mary Alice Ramos Scarborough, Susie Gillis (Ted), Emma Garduno, Trinidad Ramos (Annie) and Joe Ramos (Alicia); his sister-in-law Elizabeth Ramos; and his aunt Olivia Rios Stoll. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, close friends as well as extended family.
A funeral Mass was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (209 N Church St, Rockport, TX 78382). A burial was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery (9974 I-37, Corpus Christi, TX 78410).
