She was predeceased by: her father William H. Gamble; her husband James Q. Darsey Sr.; her mother Sophia I. Gamble; and her daughter Gina M. Carpenter. She is survived by: her sons, James Q. Darsey Jr., Mark W. Darsey (Michelle) and Patrick N. Darsey (Rendy); and her grandchildren, Tasha Darsey Baker (Jeff), Mark W. Darsey Jr. (Stormy), Randall Darsey (Tiffany), Danielle Adams, Makayla Darsey, Alex Darsey and Jacob Darsey. She is also survived by numerous extended family members and friends.
