He is survived by: his wife Irene Valdez of Rockport, Texas; and his children, Benjamin Ernest Valdez of Rockport, Texas, Carol Farley (David), Cathy Cuellar of Rockport, Rachel Lee (Meng) of Vancouver and Anna Beth Leal (Josiah) of Rockport, Texas. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
