She is survived by: her husband Fernando Chavez, Sr.; her children, Leonard Pena (Sandra) of Aransas Pass, Michael Pena (Joy) of San Antonio, Texas, Melissa Ann Garcia (Joe) of Lubbock, Melinda P. Harvey of Waxahachie, Melody Pena of San Antonio and Erminia John (Scott) of Corpus Christi, Texas; and her siblings, Roland R. Benavides of Robstown, Texas, Adilina Benavidez, Mary B. Tagle and Rosalie B. Barrios. She is also survived by 24 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren.
