She was predeceased by: her parents, Lino Montelongo and Teresa Castillo (Canuto); her son Ruben Zapata; her husband Natividad Reyes Zapata; and her siblings, Cirila L. Gonzales (Carol), Catarino Montelongo, Joe Lopez, Pete Lopez and Santiago Montelongo.
She is survived by: her children, Rosa Nunez (Eusebio), Maurilio Zapata (Dora), Marcus Zapata (Janie), Virigina Kelsy (Terrance), Robert Zapata, Alice Zapata, Theresa Grimaldo (Joe), Irene Lopez, Ricardo Zapata (Ricky) and Feliciano Zapata (Felix); and her brother Paul Lopez. She is also survived by 22 Grandchildren; 61 Great Grandchildren; and 16 Great-Great Grandchildren.
