He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerry Kocian and Bertha Kocian (Broz); his wife Billie Kocian; and his siblings, Adolph Kocian, Victor Kocian, Jerome Kocian, Johnny Kocian and Agnes Wilgonowski.
He is survived by: his children, Debra Key of Rockdale, Sharon Kocian of Rockdale, Richard Kocian (Dena) of Lexington and Larry Kocian (Cherie) of Rockdale; his siblings, Bill Kocian of Liberty, Marie Bielamowicz of Bremond, Betty Jane Kocian of Bremond and Lilly Rodriguez of Marlin; and his grandchildren, Andrew Kocian (Alyssa) of Kyle, Matthew Kocian of Rockdale and Clarice Kocian of Rockdale.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 5th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home (1041 US-79, Rockdale, TX 76567-4513). A rosary was held on Sunday, January 5th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St Joseph Catholic Church (234 San Gabriel St, Rockdale, TX 76567). A burial was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 at 850 N Main St, Rockdale, TX 76567.
