She was predeceased by: her parents, Mathilda Rummel Stall and Julius Stall; her husband Thomas John Merka, Jr.; and her brother Albert Stall. She is survived by: her sons, Thomas J. Merka, III (Connie) of Rockdale and Michael Merka (Gayle) of Cedar Creek; and her grandchildren, Thomas, Clayton Kristine, Dalton Mrs and Merka.
In lieu of flowers memorial may be made to Alzheimer's Texas or MD Anderson Cancer Center.
