He was predeceased by: his parents, Juan, Sr. Marquez and Concha Marquez; his siblings, Juan Marquez, Jr. and Manuela Salas; and his granddaughter Shelby Guthrie.

He is survived by: his wife Molly Marquez; his children, Melissa Leslie (Carey Leslie), Roseanne Guthrie and Fred Marquez, Jr.; his grandchildren, Lindsey Mikulec (Cory), Allison Guthrie, Austin Guthrie, Elena Marquez, Kiera Marquez, Gabriel Marquez and Nevin Marquez; and his pet Honey.
