It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Evelyn Virginia Muston (Rockdale, Texas), who passed away on February 8, 2025, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Boyd Kenneth and Glennie Nora Catchings; her siblings, Catchings and Vivian Dally; her brother-in-law Walter Dally; and her children-in-law, Michael Sartwell, Scott Troutman and Sherry Muston.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Troutman of Tyler, Sue Schick (Mike) of Morse, Billy Muston of Giddings, James Muston of Paris, Nora Sartwell of Orlando, FL and Donna Stewart (Danny) of Edna; her grandchildren, Pam Frost (Duncan), Markus Schick (Amy), Michelle Davisson (Codi), Carrie Shannon (Sam), Brian Muston (Michelle), Shelly Muston, Valerie Morretta (Tony), Christopher Sartwell (Sarah) and Debra Matocha (Johnathan); and her great grandchildren, Mikala Schick, Cooper Schick, Kady McCubbin, Alaina Thomas, Summit Muston, Ariana, Aylssa, Mia Moretta, Carson, Carter Sartwell, Paislea, Brylea and Tinslea Matocha.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home (1041 US-79, Rockdale, TX 76567-4513). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at 850 N Main St, Rockdale, TX 76567.
