It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Evelyn Lillian Paul of Rockdale, Texas, who passed away on January 4, 2025, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Evelyn Lillian Paul to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Zapalac and Christina Zapalac; her husband Joe Lawrence Paul; and her siblings, James Frank Zapalac, Angelina Bayer and Delores Schultz.
She is survived by: her children, Joseph Paul (Connie) of Caldwell, Texas and Lynette Denman (Leon) of Buckholts, Texas.; her grandchildren, Jason Paul, Bridget Cantey and Amber Denman; and her great grandchildren, Brock, Wyatt, Brynn Paul, Thomas, Gracie and Clare Cantey. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home (404 W Buck St, Caldwell, TX 77836). A burial was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the New Tabor Cemetery. A celebration of life was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home (404 W Buck St, Caldwell, TX 77836).
