He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Zenon Arvizu and Piedad Martinez; his child Arvizu Fencing; his wife Aniceta Acuna of Rockdale; his children, Epifanio Arvizu, Jr., Carlos Arvizu of Rockdale, Erik Arvizu (Kara) of Montgomery, Alonzo Arvizu of Corsicana, Gabriel Acuna of Victoria, Yolanda Rodriguez (Rodolfo), Azucena Araujo (Andres) of Rockdale and Francisca Ovalla of Corsicana; his grandchildren, Yaguelin, Cesar, Joshue, Yahir Rodriguez, Cristiano Rodriguez, Adalyn Banda, Ailyn Araujo, Melody, Alexander, Caleb, Melina, Mason, Zianne, Zarriah, Zailenn, Zaidenn Arvizu, Jorge, Lillian and Cecilia Garcia; and his siblings, Rolando, Alfredo, Jorge, Ismael, Lorenzo, Francisco Arvizu, Gregoria, Francisca, Gabriela, Ester, Justina, Felipa Arvizu and Maria De Jesus.
