It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Calvin Braun of Rockdale, Texas, born in Burton, Texas, who passed away on January 18, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Herman and Margrete Braun (Struck); his wife Doris Elaine Braun; his stepmother Minnie Braun; and his sister Jewell Ellis-Eyler.
He is survived by: his sons, Elan Braun (Dedra) of Thorndale and Kase Braun (Dora) of Midland; and his grandchildren, Kase William Braun Jr., Brantley Braun, Wyatt Braun and Lillian Braun (Doris Koehne). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
