He was predeceased by: his parents, John Morris and Rosa Hamby Morris; and his siblings, Clara Cotton, Doris Fuqua, Bell Bronson, Bonnie Mays, Joyce Busa and OJ Morris.
He is survived by: his wife Alpha Ann Morton Morris; his children, Melissa Pruitt (Eddie) and David Morris (Serena); and his stepchildren, Jamie Hibbeler (Helen), Kevin Hibbeler (Donna), Becky Vavra (Ben) and Stephen Hibbeler (Margaret). He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home (1041 US-79, Rockdale, TX 76567-4513). A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Black Jack Cemetery.
