He was predeceased by: his parent Lee Roy; his daughters, Tammy Nay and Jennifer Rebecca Phillips; his mother Jean Phillips (Rothenberger); his sisters-in-law, Sharon Moody, Evelyn Schmidt (Rick), Jennifer Campbell (Randy) and Robin Nowak; and his parents-in-law, Naomi and Howard Ward.
He is survived by: his wife Becky Phillips of Rockdale; his son Wade Phillips (Sarah) of Fulshear; his grandchildren, Halle Jennifer Phillips and Zachary Wade Phillips; his sister Niki Phillips of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; and his siblings-in-law, Kay Countis of Shepherd, Don Nowak of Giddings and Russ Moody of Hamilton, MT. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
