She was predeceased by: her parents, William Stanhope Norwood and Zemmer Acey Erwin Norwood of Norwood, Texas.; and her grandson Derrill Hayes Bennefield. She is survived by: her children, Robert Woodrow Means II (Maria), Ann Nix (Michael Deatherage) and Derrill Bennefield (Kristie Lewis). She is also survived by ten grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Henneke Funeral Home (1515 Montezuma St, Columbus, TX 78934). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
