She was predeceased by: her parents, Ellis Sumerlin and Willie "Bill" Sumerlin; her husband Richard Stuart; her daughter Christy Hudnall; and her sister Becky Lewis.
She is survived by: her children, Gary Stuart (Cynthia) of Roby and Tammy Mulanax (Stan) of Sweetwater; her grandchildren, Jordan Stuart of Burnet, Guy Stuart of Burnet, Angela Andel (Matt) of Sweetwater and Tara Mulanax of San Angelo; her great grandchildren, Justin, Kolby and Jaxon of Sweetwater; her sisters, Jackie Rowling of Corpus Christi and Peggy Koonsman (John Billy) of Snyder; and her close friends, Sally Etheredge of Roby, Patsy Terry of Roby, Lovelle Stuart of Roby and Mary Jo Pope of Roby. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
