He is survived by: his spouse Agua Dulce; his children, Venancio (Diane) and Elsabeth Castaneda (Ronnie); his grandchildren, Ernest Abrego (Linzi) and Amanda Figueroa; his sister Elsa Hinojosa; his sister-in-law Emma Ferlet; and also Esther Sanchez. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
