With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gabriela S. Mendoza (Robstown, Texas), born in Goliad, Texas, who passed away on January 23, 2019 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Julio Serna and Angelita Tagle Serna; her husband Benito Puebla Mendoza; her children, Benito Mendoza, Jr., Josie Mendoza and Roselia Mendoza; her siblings, Pedro, Hilario, Santos, Francisco, Angel, Seferino, Camilo Serna, Marta Escobedo, Narcisa Gamez, Clara Mendoza and Prudencia Serna; and her children, Esperanza Favela (Oscar), Gilbert Mendoza (Beatrice), Lillie Gracia (Luis), Henry Mendoza (Brenda) and Flora Gonzalez (Ismael). She was also cherished by twenty-three grandchildren, fifty-seven great-grandchildren, thirty-six great-great-great-grandchildren and other relatives and friends.
