He was predeceased by: his parents, John Wendell Forson and Mia Forson (Farber); and his parents-in-law, JC and Frances Smith. He is survived by: his family, Smith, Trace, David and Jan; his wife Jo Carol; his children, Trace Magill (Laurin) of Kyle, Jan Kelley (Joe) of Moody and David Forson (Missy) of China Spring; his grandchildren, Krista Halfmann (Kevin), Kourtney Scott (Colby), Lexi Forson (Matt Weiner), Alli Davilla (Marcus) and Seth "Digger" Wright; his stepgrandchildren, Dalton Kelley, Tanner Kelley (Samantha Charles), Kamber Kelley, Ricky Thompson, Crystal Faulstich Brough and Travis Faulstich; his great grandchildren, Brady, Lila, Aizley, Graylon, Hays and Lennon; his brother Bobby Lumpkin (Roxy); and his cousin Evelyn Elliott.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial gifts in the form of money, time, or blood donations be made to the American Red Cross or your local blood center.
