He was predeceased by: his grandfather Carlos Gonzales; and his uncle Joe Gonzales. He is survived by: his parents, James Gonzales (Lynne) and Josephine Gonzalez (Alan) of Waco, Texas.; his wife Kristi Gonzales; his daughter Samantha Gonzales; his stepsons, Kaleb and Kooper Forbis; his grandparents, Pauline Gonzales, Benito Gonzalez and Guadalupe Alvarado; and his siblings, Jessica Gonzales (Ramiro Najera), Katie Madins, Richard Snow (Kaitlyn), Stephanie Alvarado (Israel), Stacie Rivas (Arturo), Monica Munoz (Joel) and Brianna Snow. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for support for medical and funeral expenses.
