She was predeceased by: her parents, John Uptmore and Mary Uptmore (Seith); her siblings, Alvin, Johnnie, Virgil, Josephine Curry, Catherine Recek, Wilhelmina Black and Ruby Vrba; her grandson Bradley Eckenrode; and her sons-in-law, Ricky Herod and Roy Lowrey.
She is survived by: her daughters, Peggy Lowrey of Crawford, Kathy Herod of Robinson, Sandra Reddig (Jim) of Elm Mott, Cynthia Kaluza (Steve Fincher) of Waco, Brenda Kaluza of Waco and Rebecca Jackson (Nick) of Beverly Hills; and her grandchildren, Keith Lowrey, Pam DeRoon, Brent Lowrey (Amy), Chris Eckenrode (Misty), Jason Eckenrode (Crystal), Kristen Blancett, Kera Silver (Larren), Alyssa VanVleet (Dale), Monika Fincher, Jimmy Hassell, Bryan Holt (Antonia), Natisha Holt, Marcus Kaluza, Joe Gonzalez (Renee), Eric Gonzalez (Desiree) and Nickolas Jackson. She is also survived by 37 great grandchildren; 6 great great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel (808 S Reagan St, West, TX 76691). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (301 S Harrison St, West, TX 76691).
