He was predeceased by: his wife Amnie Louise; his parents, Walter Vance and Annie Vance; and his siblings, Sam, Bill and Jeanie June Vance.
He is survived by: his sister Jean Cangelose; his children, Jim Vance (Martha), Doug Vance (Barbara), Alan Vance (Miriam) and Carol Palmer (Michael); and his grandchildren, Seth, Sean, Clint, Shane, Andy, Josh, Bailey and Jordan. He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren, one great-great granddaughter, and numerous nieces and nephews.
