He was predeceased by: his sister Betty Ruth Johnson; and his great-niece Jennifer. He is survived by: his siblings, Bobby Gene Hood (Joyce), William Hood (Rhonda) and JoAnn Williams (Dwaine); and his brother-in-law Richard Johnson. He is also survived by ten nephews and nieces, twenty-one great nephews and nieces and one great-great nephew.
