With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ricky Van Sanford of Robert Lee, Texas, born in San Saba, Texas, who passed away on June 12, 2024 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Sanford and Anna Belle Sanford (Brown); and his brothers, Wilmeth and Sheral Sanford. He is survived by: his significant other Pamela Sanford (Finlay); his daughters, Kristian Wanner (Randy) of Midland, Amanda Cherry (Trey) of Midland and Courtney Tarango (Benny) of Midland; his grandsons, Ryan Wanner, Robert Wanner and Gunner Cherry; his pets, Stewy, Penny and Bruno; his brother-in-law Scott Finlay; his nephew Brad Sanford; and his pet Gabby. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
