It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerry Edward Wilkes of Robert Lee, Texas, born in Alpine, Texas, who passed away on August 29, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, C. T. Wilkes and Ruth Derrick Wilkes; and his brothers, Carroll Wilkes, Glen Wilkes and Monte Wilkes.
He is survived by: his brothers, Pat (Susan) of Houston, Doug of Robert Lee and Tom (June) of Robert Lee; his sisters-in-law, Melba, Barbara and Debbie; and his pet Joe. He is also survived by numerous Nephews, nieces and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Robert Lee Methodist Church or the Robert Lee Volunteer Fire Department or a charity of choice.
