With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David Joseph Halfmann of Robert Lee, Texas, born in Ballinger, Texas, who passed away on July 5, 2023 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Charles Halfmann and Ella Halfmann (Wanoreck); his wife Shirley Ann Michalewicz; his siblings, Earl Halfmann, Flora Wilberg, Elvie Ahlert and George Ann Meeks; his daughter Victoria Lee Cantu; his grandsons, Charlton Jacob "Jake" Loftin and Nathan Ross Halfmann; his children, David J. Halfmann Jr. of Robert Lee, Roy Halfmann (Susan) of Lamesa, Pat Halfmann (Teresa) of Pottsboro and Susan Loftin (Gene) of Sundown; his grandchildren, Stacia Coleman, April Loftin-Garbay, Kimberly Halfmann, Sabra Shea Kuehner, Brian Halfmann and Jonathan Halfmann; and his great grandchildren, Ariel Loftin, Kaydence Loftin, Avery Goad, Mia Coleman, Zady'n Coulter and Nikki Garbay. He was also cherished by sons and grandsons), spending time with his family and his little sugars (grandkids).
Memorials may be given to St. Jude Children's Hospital in lieu of flowers.
