Barbara Jo Adkins Obituary

We are sad to announce that on January 17, 2025, Barbara Jo Adkins of Robert Lee, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Elmer; her sons, Mac and Charlie; and her siblings, Edwina, R. D., Mike, Preston, Joe and Freddie.

She is survived by: her sister Alice Wallace (Royce); her children, Ross Adkins (Kay) and Jo Louise Adkins (Cherie Ross); her close friend Yvonne Devoll; her grandchildren, Michelle, Kenneth Fickle, Michael, Asaco Adkins, Jessica Adkins, Zachary Adkins, Claire and Richard Flores; her great grandchildren, Derick, Karissa, Michiah Fickle, Hope and James; and her great great grandchild Aurora Rose Compton.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM at the Robert Lee Funeral Home (901 Austin St, Robert Lee, TX 76945). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Robert Lee Cemetery (502 Overland Trail, Robert Lee, TX 76945).
