He was loved and cherished by many people including: his grandfather Joe Glenn; his parents, Luster C. Meredith and Agnes Meredith (Abercrombie); his siblings, Doris Thames, Yvonne Wilson, ElWanda Carson, Johnny and Jackie Meredith; his wife Joyce Meredith (Ashley); his children, Carla Meador (Jim), Sherry Rose (Tony) of Matador, Randy Meredith (Holly) of Roaring Springs, Cody Meredith (Leah) of San Angelo and Yancy Meredith (Daphne) of Roaring Springs; his grandchildren, Jeremy Jones (Whitney) of Lubbock, Sean Rose (Heidi) of Matador, Shea Rose of Matador, John Hodges (Jessica) of Amarillo, Angelica Meredith of San Angelo and Jonah Meredith of Roaring Springs; his great grandchildren, Morgan of Lubbock and Harper; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Dominick and Madison Maldonado of Matador; his siblings, Bennie Meredith of Roaring Springs, Verlon Lindsey of Clute, Marilyn Weis of Temple and Dian Estes of Matador; his grandsons, Wylie Hodges and Parker Meredith; and his great grandchildren, Judson Jones and Kellen Rose. He was also cherished by numerous nieces, nephews, friends.
He died in Lubbock Covenant hospital from complications of pneumonia, a result of the Covid-19 virus.
