He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred D. McCarty, Sr. and Venita Stockham McCarty; and his brother Johnny Michael McCarty. He is survived by: his son Fred McCarty III; his wives, Julie and Kelly; his daughters, Teresa McCarty and Melissa Scroggins; and his sisters, Linda JoAnn Gray and Micki Crews. He is also survived by three grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and other extended family.
