He was predeceased by: his parents, Carolyn Kepler Matthews and Richard Neal Matthews Sr.; and his sister Cheryl Connor. He is survived by: his wife Tammy Donelson; his son Jason Christopher Matthews; and his granddaughter Calli Matthews of Round Rock.
