He was predeceased by: his parents, August Paul and Anna Richter Mittag; his daughters, Vicki Mittag Webster and Sheri Mittag Banks; and his grandson Jonathon Banks.
He is survived by: his wife Bobbie Mittag of Riviera, TX; his grandchildren, Derik Mittag of Riviera, TX, Johnathon and Teresa Welch; and his sister Leona Campbell (James) of Waller, TX. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
