We are sad to announce that on February 15, 2020, at the age of 79, John F. Washington (Riviera, Texas), born in Rockford, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin and Marie (Schissel) of Washington; his brothers, Jim, Dale and Tom; and his grandson Christopher Thomas.

He is survived by: his wife Margaret (Ball) of Washington; his children, Michael (Dorey) of Loves Park, IL, Michele Thomas of Vincennes, IN, Marc (Michelle) of Loves Park, IL, Morey (Ann) of Rockford, IL and Mary Jo Hittington (Dawn) of Vincennes, IN.; and his sister Betty Culver (David). He is also survived by his wife, his 5 children, his 20 grandchildren, and his 13 great grandchildren.
