He was predeceased by: his son Alfonso De Leon. He is survived by: his wife Maria N. De Leon of Riviera; his children, Anabel Barnes (Karey) of Kingsville, Maria G. De Leon of Virginia, Augustine De Leon of Kingsville, Rene De Leon of Falfurrias, Martin De Leon (Melissa) of Riviera and Guillermo De Leon Jr. of Mexia; his grandchildren, Miranda, Mia, April, Isabel, Alfonso, Anthony, Alicia, Khalil, Santiago and Saida; and his great grandchildren, Tyler, Luna, Gerardo, Ricardo, Sophia and Eli. He is also survived by numerous nieces, and nephews.
