He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Wilfred Engel and Lillian Engel; his children, David L. Engel, Jr. and Pamela Jewel Engel; his grandchildren, Sarah, Cristen, Christina and Michael; and his sisters, Patricia Honeywell, Lynda Harris and Joan Winze. He was also cherished by several great-grandchildren.
