It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Susie Mae Fields (Rising Star, Texas), born in Comanche, Texas, who passed away on June 23, 2018, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Johnny Cook and Annie Cook; her brothers, Jerry Cook and Buddy Cook; and her brothers-in-law, Billy Paul Underwood and David Waylan Fields.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Ray Fields (Ira Monroe) of Comanche, Tony Dale Fields (Donna Forrester) of Buffalo Springs, Tiena Rene Griggs of Buffalo Springs and Shiela Gay Fields of May; her sister Mary Ann Underwood of Rising Star; and her siblings-in-law, Martha Cook of Rising Star, Carolyn Cook of Stephenville, Doris Hilliard of Comanche, Tommy Fields (Vicky) of Proctor and Paul Fields of Comanche. She is also survived by six grandchildren; twenty-four great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren.
