It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bruce Wayne Rivers of Rising Star, Texas, who passed away on December 15, 2024, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Bruce Wayne departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Bruce Wayne may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Bruce Wayne leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Evelyn Laverne Rivers (Owen) and Jackie Rivers; his sister Peggy Garten; and his uncles, Doug and Jerry.
He is survived by: his children, Amanda Rivers of Early and Bryan Rivers of Rising Star; his grandchild Kera Arberry (Abigail Manous); his nephew Travis Garten of Hawaii; and his uncle Leroy Rivers. He is also survived by many cousins, friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Heartland Funeral Home (303 Early Blvd, Early, TX 76802).
