She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Cas and Ophelia Gentry Underdown; her husband Calvin H. Gist; and her siblings, Cornelius Harrison, Clyde Harrison, Horace Harrison and Nelda Metcalf.
She is survived by: her children, Kevin Gist (Karen), Wade Gist of Rio Vista and Selene Nix (Bruce); her grandchildren, Sarah Gist, Seth, Victoria Gist, Ty, Hannah Gist, Iain Nix and Christopher Jenkins; her great grandchildren, Ellesyn, Calvin, Levi and Elliott; and her brother Jessie Underdown. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
