He was predeceased by: his parents, Alec Edward Tanner and Catherine Anna Tanner (Cork); his siblings, Robert William Tanner and Catherine Ann Tanner; his brothers-in-law, Robert Thomas Henderson and Stanley Skocz; his sons, Brian Edward Sipes-Tanner and Michael Allison Tanner; and his close friend Babydog.
He is survived by: his children, Aimee Nicole Finley (Tanner Finley), Ashley Marie Weaver, Dawn Marie Crum (Chris), Kimberly Ann Dubose (Lance), Marcus Allen Weaver (Wendy), Edward Lamont Tanner Jr. and Dennis Tanner; his sisters, Barbara Skocz and Rose Good (Bob); and his siblings-in-law, Cindy Henderson, Bonnie Henderson, Tracy Henderson, Pepper Henderson, Jim Henderson, Steve Henderson and Tommy Weaver. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, grandchildren, and friends.
