He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Stein and Tessie Stein; his brother Julius Stein; and his brothers-in-law, Glenn "Booty" Keller and Norman Gladson.
He is survived by: his daughters, Deesa Griggs (Derek) of Castroville and Tricia Hurtado (Hector) of Rio Medina; his grandchildren, Bradley (Ashley), Zachary, Kamryn, Madisyn Griggs, Hannah, Haylee and Hunter Hurtado; his sister Doris Keller of Rio Medina; his sisters-in-law, Ida Stein and Marilyn Gladson; and his wife Jeannean Gladson. He is also survived by several nephews and a niece.
Face coverings are required and social distancing shall be practiced.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made in Walter's memory to St. Louis Catholic School, the Medina Valley Education Foundation or the charity of your choice.
