It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Maxine Mangold Haby of Rio Medina, Texas, born in Castroville, Texas, who passed away on August 30, 2020, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Adolph Stephen Mangold and Hilda Theresa Reicherzer Mangold; her husband Leroy Haby; her brothers, Harold Mangold and Wilmer J. "Shorty" Mangold (Agnes); and her brothers-in-law, Wallace Haby (Leora Belzung) and Emmett R. Haby (Barbara Biediger Groff).

She is survived by: her children, Eloise Kauffmann (Frank) of Rio Medina, Susan Nickel (Curtis) of San Antonio, Audrey Love (Richard) of Rio Medina, Leroy J. Haby, Jr. (Sharon) of Somerville and Curtis R. Haby (Jeanie) of Rio Medina; her grandchildren, Frankie Kauffmann (Sara), Sarah Naegelin, Paula Dean (Scott), Loran Ricord (Landon), Julie Smith (Kevin), Travis Nickel (Randalyn), Taylor Haby, Jordan Haby, Brynn Haby, Caeley Haby and Lacy Haby; her great grandchildren, Trey Kauffmann, Leyton Kauffmann, Kelsi Kauffmann, Alexandrea Naegelin, Gerald Naegelin, Coltyn Dean, Bryson Dean, Riley Ricord, Kaydence Ricord, Kenslie Smith, Macie Smith, Corbin Smith, Adalyn Nickel and Trenton Nickel; and her brother-in-law Louis J. "L. J." Haby (Barbara) of Medina Lake. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Face coverings are required and social distancing shall be practiced.
