He was predeceased by: his parents, Gregorio Alaniz and Irene Muniz. He is survived by: his children, Rhonda Jean Alaniz, Richard Pruitt Alaniz and Ryan Gregory Alaniz; and his grandchildren, Robynn Elaine Olivarez (Samuel J. Olivarez), John David Gomez, Justin Richard Gomez (Tiffany Gonzalez) and Reba Eileen Gomez (Ricky Hernandez). He is also survived by his 12 great-grandchildren.
