Cortez; his children, Jesus Jose (JJ), Michael Anthony Cortez (Maria) and Erika Michelle Cortez; his granddaughters, Melanie, Aliyah, Emani Chavarria, Leandra Correa and Aubrey Torres; and his sisters, Adela Gonzalez (Robert), Alicia Martinez (Jose) and Angelica Cortez. He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, other relatives, and friends.
