Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Adela Valladares of Rio Hondo, Texas, born in Sarita, Texas, who passed away at the age of 93, on November 24, 2024. She was predeceased by: her parents, Fulgencio Reyes and Leonor Mayorga Reyes; her husband Albaro Valladares Sr.; her son Adrain Valladares; and her siblings, Maria Garcia Ruiz, Antonia Reyes, Adolfo Reyes, Alberto Reyes, Abelardo Reyes, Adelina Reyes Ybarra and Abel Reyes.
She is survived by: her children, Josefina Ramos, Albaro Valladares Jr., Maria Elena Maldonado, Estella Cortez (Oscar), Yolanda Lopez (David), Eduardo Valladares (Socorro), Norma, Argullin (Frank), Jesus Valladares (Angelica), Antonio Valladares (Belia), Mario Valladares (Elsa) and Raul Valladares; and her siblings, Eduardo Garcia, Adan Reyes, Aurora Garza, Amado Reyes, Alfredo Reyes and Adeliada Perez. She is also survived by 21 Grandchildren, 30 Great grandchildren, and 11 Great Great grandchildren. And many beloved nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Thomae-Garza Funeral Home (395 S Sam Houston Blvd, San Benito, TX 78586). A rosary was held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Helen's Catholic Church (228 Huisache Ave, Rio Hondo, TX 78586). A burial will be held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Rio Hondo Community Cemetery (420 Madero Ave, Rio Hondo, TX 78583).
