It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Abel Flores of Rio Hondo, Texas, who passed away on August 16, 2020, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Gustavo Flores and Olivia Rios Flores. He is survived by: his wife Amelia G. Flores; his children, Lorraine Gonzales (Homer), Gloria Flores, Orlando Flores (Keva) and Iselda Robles (Jorge); his grandchildren, Jennifer Gonzales-Oxen (Randy), Justin Gonzales (Carla), Stephanie McAlpin (Michael), Amanda Jackson (Ben), David Flores, Brianna Flores, Joshua Robles and Noah Robles; his great grandchildren, Joaquin, Jorge, Renato Gonzales, Jacob John Oxen and Norah McAlpin; and his siblings, Amy Tsoflias, Rachel Flores, Sally Flores and Ephraim Flores.
All guests must wear a facial covering and maintain social distancing while visiting the funeral home.
Floral tributes will be accepted; however, the family would prefer that memorial donations be made in memory of Abel Flores to La Trinidad Assembly of God Church, P. O. Box 475, Rio Hondo, TX 78583.
